About

A little about me

I'm Mohammed Akash — moh·akash, “the infinite sky.” I build for the web, chase research questions wherever they lead, and write poetry now and then — mostly in Bengali. I'm based in Bangladesh and work with people just about anywhere.

The foundation is freelance web development — around seven years of it now, for clients across roughly twenty countries, a five-star rating the whole way, and a few hundred projects behind me. That work taught me how to ship, how to listen, and how to make things people actually use.

Lately I'm pulling the other threads tighter. I published my first conference paper — a graph neural network for Banglish spell correction, at ICCIT 2025 — with a few more in progress, and I'm documenting what it's really like to build software in public with Claude, day by day. And I still scribble the odd poem, mostly to keep the other half of my brain awake.
